CMTA Meeting Outcomes 2014

Recently, the RMTAO met as part of the Canadian Massage Therapist Alliance (CMTA) in Shediac, New Brunswick.
At this meeting, the CMTA has decided to develop a five page submission for the Federal Panel on Healthcare Innovation. The CMTA also developed an initial approach to the Federal Minister of Revenue with regard to an application to rescind the HST requirement once a fifth province is regulated. The RMTAO has also written to the federal and provincial Ministers of Finance with respect to HST.
