This two-day, 14-hour in-person workshop focuses on practitioner self-care, breath awareness, body awareness, and strategies to support professional sustainability for hands-on practitioners.
The physical and professional demands of clinical practice — sustained manual effort, repetitive strain, and the toll of a full client schedule — add up over time. This workshop gives RMTs a practical self-care toolkit they can use to manage fatigue, stay focused during their workday, and support their own long-term wellbeing.

What participants will learn:— Five breathing techniques to manage energy, build focus, and support the practitioner's own wellbeing throughout the workday— Body awareness exercises that help practitioners recognize and release tension patterns in their own body— Hands-on practice with guided instruction throughout both days— Vocalization and breath-based exercises for practitioner grounding and self-regulation— Strategies for maintaining focus, presence, and physical comfort during a full day of client sessions— A personal self-care practice that can be used between sessions, at home, and throughout a practitioner's careerThis workshop equips RMTs with tools to care for themselves so they can show up at their best and sustain a long, healthy career.No prior experience in breathwork or body awareness training is required.
Presenter Bio:
Thea Willette is a certified Quantum-Touch instructor specializing in breathwork, body awareness, and practitioner self-care for healthcare professionals. A former ultrasound technologist, Thea brings firsthand experience using these techniques to manage the physical and professional demands of a clinical workday. She has taught workshops across Ontario and virtually, working with massage therapists, bodyworkers, and other hands-on practitioners. Thea has been featured on The Radical Massage Therapist Podcast.
