Course Description: This 7-hour continuing education course provides an advanced clinical and neurological approach to deep tissue therapy. The program is designed to enhance clinical reasoning, improve manual precision, and integrate neuromuscular and visceral considerations into therapeutic practice. Participants will explore the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying muscle tone regulation, including muscle spindle and Golgi tendon organ function, and their relevance to chronic tension and dysfunction. The course also addresses postural and fascial imbalance patterns, viscerosomatic reflex relationships within manual therapy practice. The theoretical component (2.5 hours) establishes a clear understanding of deep tissue therapy from a neurological and clinical perspective. The practical component (4.5 hours) consists of instructor-led demonstrations and supervised hands-on application of advanced deep tissue techniques, emphasizing treatment precision, safety, and efficiency rather than excessive force.
