CBN Meeting - Early Career RMTs and Student focused CBN!

This CBN helps students and new RMTs with the transition from student to health professional. Attendees can learn from more experienced RMTs and help get their careers off to the best start.

Topic: This presentation will discuss sexual violence and harassment in the workplace with a focus on creating safer spaces and building concrete strategies for addressing harassment. In this session, we’ll cover: setting and maintaining clear boundaries, recognizing and safely addressing problematic behaviours, having difficult conversations with clients, and reporting/other paths towards healing and justice.

We’ll offer practical resources that will help you feel more confident and empowered to create a safer, healthier workplace.”

 About the presenter:

Cindy McMann (she/her) is a public educator with Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis. Her anti-violence work includes presentations and workshops across Guelph and Wellington County on topics such as intimate partner violence, consent and human trafficking.
