Our understanding of trauma and its impacts on human physiology, behaviour and perception of sensation has expanded in the past decade and it has become necessary for RMTs to become trauma informed in order to better understand and support the patient populations who are affected by a history of trauma. 

This introductory webinar will be a valuable starting point for RMTs interested in better understanding trauma informed care. We will discuss types of trauma and how it can show up in practice and will also explore practical somatic tools to become more trauma informed within the RMT scope of practice.
