It is an RMT’s nightmare to receive notice of a complaint against them to the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). The good news is that many can be prevented.

Join Lisa Feinberg, professional regulation lawyer with GlickLaw, to discuss concrete steps that you can take to prevent complaints to the CMTO and what to do when those steps fail, and you nonetheless receive a complaint. Lisa will review common issues leading to complaints, including record keeping, boundary violations, failing to obtain informed consent, and false billings. Based on these common issues, Lisa will present participants with real life scenarios and participants will collectively discuss how these issues could have been managed or prevented, including practical tips on dealing with insurance companies and establishing professional boundaries and improving communication with clients. This is a professional responsibility webinar that you do not want to miss.
